Tapjoy Wins Prestigious SMARTIES X and Effective Mobile Marketing Awards

It’s a great time of year for marketing professionals, and not just because of the approaching holidays. We’ve just entered the marketing awards season, where the industry takes a moment to recognize the most memorable and effective ad campaigns. Meanwhile, we’re in exceptionally high spirits at Tapjoy because we didn’t just win one such award — we won two in a single week!

First, we learned that our Video to Interactive End Card campaign for Sparkling Ice won the 2020 SMARTIES X award in the Mobile Gaming, Gamification & E-Sports category. This award celebrates “the talent and teams who, even in these uncertain times, have created innovative campaigns that drive business impact.” The campaign earned a record-shattering three million views and surpassed our engagement benchmark five times over thanks to gamified end cards. Users spent an average of 19 seconds on the end card, generating a 95 percent game completion rate overall. Check out the full Success Story here.

The celebrations didn’t stop there. One day later, Tapjoy won an Effective Mobile Marketing Award from Mobile Marketing Magazine in the Most Effective Retail or FMCG campaign category. This CPA campaign with MANSCAPED drove over 120K first-time purchases and led to a significant international expansion. And the judges had many kind words as well:

“From start to finish this campaign is flawless. It is a fantastic example of a tried and tested campaign to understand the end consumer, with massively impressive results. Pulling off a successful CPA campaign on a product of that value is always tricky to achieve, but they passed the test with flying colours.”

We are immensely honored to receive both of these prestigious mobile marketing awards and grateful to all the people who made it possible behind the scenes — we couldn’t have done it without you.
