Tapjoy was proud to be among those representing the best that the mobile industry has to offer, there to talk about the important issues facing mobile developers throughout Asia. Not only did we have two booths in the exhibit halls, but we hosted a webinar that was very well attended by event-goers.
Masakazu Murakami, Tapjoy’s Head of Publisher Development in Japan, presented a talk on “Ad Monetization in Japan,” in which he shared insights on the state of app monetization for the large and growing audience of Japanese app users. As Masakazu explained, advertising plays an increasingly important role in monetizing Japanese users, and Tapjoy has partnered with hundreds of leading developers in the region to help them fulfill their revenue potential through our unique advertising platform.
Meanwhile, Victoria Jiang of Tapjoy’s Beijing office presented a lecture on “How to Go Global With Tapjoy.” Many developers were at G-STAR to learn how to either break into the Asian markets or how to expand their app beyond Asia, and Tapjoy has tons of experience helping developers achieve both goals. From localizing an app for specific regions to finding the right distribution strategies based on local ecosystems, Victoria presented plenty of thoughtful advice on how app developers can find a global audience.
Overall, the event was a huge success and Tapjoy was very pleased to play a role in one of the greatest events the gaming industry has to offer.
