Partner Reminder: Update your Tapjoy SDK before May 1st

As you likely know, as of May 1st, Apple’s App Store will no longer accept new apps or app updates that access UDID. In light of this deadline, we wanted to use this blog post as an opportunity to confirm, as our partner, that you will no longer be collecting or using UDID on iOS, or providing it to Tapjoy.

We have removed, and will no longer support, any Tapjoy SDKs that only capture UDID on iOS devices — which includes all Tapjoy SDK versions prior to version 8.1. We know the vast majority of our network has already upgraded, but if you have an older Tapjoy SDK version, you must update to version 9.0 before re-submitting your app to the App Store, or the app may be rejected.

Upgrading to version 9.0 not only ensures compliance, but ensures that you are taking advantage of our complete solution for maximizing the monetization and distribution opportunity on iOS devices.
