Offerwalls have long been a monetization method of choice for Free-to-Play (FTP) developers because they offer a simple, non-disruptive way for users to engage with rewarded ads. Offerwalls provide users with the freedom to engage with as many offers as they would like in exchange for virtual currency. Users are able to select from a diverse set of offers from leading brands, allowing them to pick and choose the ones they want to engage with.

Now, new findings from Tapjoy demonstrate that Offerwalls are not only a great, unobtrusive way for developers to monetize their app, but they also have a strong positive effect on retention! Tapjoy’s latest Maximum Impact Report found that the more offers that a player engages with during the first week, the more likely they are to engage with the app after 30 days.
